The COVID-19 pandemic is not simply a public health crisis. It is also a logistical crisis –one that has tragically exposed weaknesses in the healthcare supply chain that have cost lives and forced the industry to re-evaluate many of its standard operating practices. As the year comes to an end, we have an opportunity –or, more accurately, a responsibility –to step back and assess what we learned as an industry and what we need to do to improve.
