The Christ Hospital Health Network “Goes Live”

Challenging Project, Rewarding Experience

Pittsburgh, PA — Prodigo Solutions is pleased to announce The Christ Hospital Health Network (TCH), a long standing beacon of the Cincinnati community, has successfully launched ProdigoMarketplace, the company’s flagship product.

“Our collective patience and persistence paid off,” said Mary Frazer, the lead ERP Business Analyst on the project. “Common sense support, like putting us in direct contact with other Prodigo clients that run Lawson, did more than ease our ERP integration challenges. In many ways, it further validated the project.”

During the first day of system availability, more than 600 product searches were executed against a single, consolidated Item Master that included 20 hosted supplier catalogs and a highly custom Special Request page. At one point, nearly 20% of all THC users were recorded as concurrently active.

Said Mike Deluca, Prodigo’s EVP of Operations, “When it was reported the ‘go-live’ went so smoothly that TCH personnel thought their dedicated support line was broken [because they weren’t receiving calls] I smiled, because it’s not the first time we’ve heard it. I appreciate Mary Frazer’s sentiments. Her comments about ‘patience and persistence’ is a key takeaway given the project’s challenges.”

Healthcare providers use Prodigo to control internal points of sale (POS). Counting more than half of the nation’s most prestigious systems, Prodigo manages the largest repository of fully attributed market data in the nation. Its systems resolve long-standing data problems, enforce product and services standards, optimize contract utilization and enhance the requisitioning experience of clinicians.
